Data Deletion

1. Who this page is for

This page explains two things: how an end user (someone our customers message on WhatsApp) can ask AiConva to delete their personal data, and how AiConva handles the automated data-deletion request that Meta sends when a business disconnects a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) they connected through Embedded Signup.

AiConva is a product operated by JustTicks Platform. When a business (our customer) uses AiConva to message you, that business is the data fiduciary/controller of your data and AiConva acts as a data processor on their instructions.

2. If a business disconnects their WABA

When a customer removes a WhatsApp Business Account from AiConva, or deletes their workspace, we delete the associated access token immediately and remove that WABA's contacts, conversations, message content, and templates from active storage within 90 days. Billing ledger entries required under Indian tax law are retained for the statutory period and then deleted.

3. How an end user can request deletion

If you have received messages from an AiConva customer and want your data deleted, you can:

• Reply STOP to any message from that business. AiConva immediately opts you out and suppresses you from all future campaigns sent through our platform for that business.
• Contact the business that messaged you directly — as the data fiduciary, they instruct us to delete your data.
• Email us at privacy@aiconva.com with the phone number you were messaged on. We will route your request to the responsible business and confirm deletion within 30 days.

4. What we delete

On a verified deletion request we remove your phone number, name, tags, attributes, opt-in records, and message content from the customer's workspace, and exclude your number from all segments and future campaigns. Anonymised aggregate metrics (for example, total messages sent by a campaign) are retained as they can no longer identify you.

5. Data we must keep

We retain limited records where required by law — for example, tax-related billing records under Indian law, and audit logs needed to investigate fraud or abuse. These records are kept only for the statutory period and then deleted.

6. Timeline

We action verified deletion requests within 30 days. Requests routed through a business may take longer where the business itself must approve or complete the deletion.
